Huadian Zibo Thermal Power Co., Ltd., the successor of Shandong Nanding Thermal Power Plant, was established in 1952 and experienced three times of expansion, to reach the current total installed capacity 950MW.

Previously, the fixed--range hydraulic couplers were applied in the coal conveyor belt in Huadian Zibo Thermal Power Co., Ltd. Yet the fixed--range hydraulic coupler has the problems of low precision, poor linearity, slow response, large starting current, large size, easy oil leakage, fuel injection, complicated maintenance and high cost, thus incapable of meeting the needs of improving the overall automation level and reducing the cost of the equipment.

To solve these problems, in December 2014, BKC technical experts prepared an effective solution after on-site inspection, to replace the hydraulic coupler with the permanent magnet coupler, which was installed and commissioned in May, 2015 after production cycle, installation and reform, and proved a success after several times of no-load test, heavy load test and overload test.
