In 2018, we commenced the "Safety Production and Equipment Management and Control Integrated Platform System" project of Baotou Aluminum Thermal Power Plant.


The project takes the life-cycle management of equipment as the main line, covering intelligent decision-making, intelligent operation, intelligent visualization, intelligent devices, intelligent terminals and other functional levels. It is a cross-department, cross-trade, multi-disciplinary, multi-technology, multi-functional big data information platform, and also a working platform for all employees. Through vertical streamlining and horizontal integration of various professional application systems, this project realizes comprehensive equipment evaluation to assist with production decision-making, and high integration and deep mining of holographic big data to assist with operation. It also enables big data collection and cloud computing to rapidly produce reports as well as high-precision 3D visualized display.


The integrated platform system consists of the “four-inspections-in-one” integrated equipment management and control system, visualized intelligent auxiliary engine online precision diagnosis system, the visualized steam turbine generator unit online monitoring system, the visualized intelligent boiler safety pre-control system, and the visualized excellent lubricant management system. The plant-level cloud platform system performs remote data transmission and access and enables mobile office like remote work viewing, approval and management.


The comprehensive information fusion, data extraction, intelligent monitoring working together with intelligent business decision-making make it possible to optimize operation and maintenance, detail the operation and maintenance budget and support spare parts procurement, comprehensively improve equipment reliability and management level of the power plant, so that the power generation enterprise could gain the best economic benefits.
