In 2018, we began to implement the "Intelligent Fault Early Warning and Diagnosis System for Power Plant Equipment" project in Huaiyin Power Plant.


This project, through integrating equipment management resources such as boilers, steam turbines, and electrical equipment, extends the management process from condition monitoring, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement to design defect analysis and life extension, thereby to achieve goals of “controllable device condition, controllable management process and controllable economic cost".

The system consists of warning on leakage of "four tubes" of the boiler and the life management system module; steam turbine generator unit vibration online monitoring module; important auxiliary equipment vibration online monitoring module; important auxiliary equipment temperature and temperature rise monitoring module; IR imaging monitoring module; lubricating oil monitoring module; rotating machinery rolling bearing life management module; and fan automatic adjustment system condition monitoring module. It focuses on analysis of the equipment operating condition, takes condition assessment and risk assessment as a means, and integrates core technologies such as intelligent expert diagnosis database and big data mining to create an integrated equipment management platform.


This project covers equipment management of boilers, steam turbines, generator main equipment and important auxiliary machines. It is a cross-department, cross-trade, multi-disciplinary, multi-technology, multi-functional big data information platform. Through vertical streamlining and horizontal integration of various professional application systems, this project realizes equipment real-time monitoring, intelligent diagnosis and comprehensive evaluation. This will definitely improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, reduce labor intensity, and innovate in equipment management modes.
